I DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU. BUT, I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED KELLY WEARSTLER AND HER INCREDIBLE STYLE. HER KEEN EYE TO MAKE ONE ITEM INTO SOMETHING AMAZING. THIS IS HOW I LOOK AT KELLY WEARSTLER. I FIND HER SENSE OF FASHION TO BE MORE THAN AMAZING. I FIND IT FLAWLESS.

WELL. I LITERALLY LIVE DOWN THE STREET FROM HER NEW WEST HOLLYWOOD, MELROSE BOUTIQUE. SINCE SHE IS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER- THE STORE IS IMMACULATE, THE CURB APPEAL IS TO DIE FOR. THE WINDOW DISPLAYS ARE OUT OF THIS  WORLD.

BUT, WHAT DO I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT HER FASHION LINE?? YOU PROBABLY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR THIS. IT SUCKS. THE STYLING SUCKS. THE COLORS ARE MUTE. I WOULD MAY BE WEAR ONE PIECE.??… THIS IS TRAGIC. IT TRULY IS. IF YOU HAD THE EYE OF KELLY AND HAD THE MONEY TO AFFORD THE BEST OF THE BEST STYLISTS TO CREATE HEAVENLY LOOKS AND HAVE THAT MONEY BACKUP TO AFFORD YOU A STYLE ADVISER, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT MAKING PARIS HILTONS LINE LOOK LIKE THE HOUSE OF GIVENCHY. THEN YOUR CLOTHING LINE WOULDN’T LOOK LIKE THIS.

P.S. SORRY KELLY. YOUR LINE SUCKS.

L.A.-Based Decorator Kelly Wearstler Adds Fashion Design to her house of fun

You may know Kelly Wearstler as an interior-design maven and extravagant fashion enthusiast (who can forget her outlandish outfits and hats on Bravo’s Top Design?), but it seems she has her taste-making sights set much higher than your couch or coffee table. Hoping to translate her eye for design to the fashion realm, Kelly will be launching a collection this fall that includes clothes, jewelry, clutches, and scarves. Wearstler thought it would be a smooth transition because “so much of my influence in interior design comes from fashion and everything relating to fashion, from jewelry, which can be reminiscent of sculpture, to the colors and silhouettes that I find in clothing.” The crossover influence of interior design is definitely apparent and purposeful throughout the collection: “it feels like it could be a few rooms in a house.” The collection is exclusive to Bergdorf Goodman for fall, and will be sold in a special space designed by Wearstler herself. Sharing in Wearstler’s point of view won’t come cheap, though—price points range from $205-$1,395 for clothes; $155-$995 for jewelry; and $795-$995 for bags

TWILIGHTS KRISTIN STEWART TO PLAY SNOW WHITE??

With word circulating that Viggo Mortensen is in talks to play one of the title characters in the Rupert Sanders-directed Snow White and the Huntsman for Universal Pictures, will Twilight Saga‘s Kristen Stewart end up with playing Snow White? Though the studio has been testing young actresses and no one is set, there are persistent rumors that Stewart looms large as a potential lead. Mortensen surfaces in the lead of that movie in a role that had been rumored for Michael Fassbender. But Fassbender never had an offer and he committed to the Ridley Scott-directedPrometheus with Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron. Ironically, Theron is also starring in Huntsmen as the Evil Queen. Stewart is repped by Gersh.

Saint-Tropez has never been lacking in It factor, exactly, but the glitzy seaside town is currently having quite a moment. Karl Lagerfeld turned out a Brigitte Bardot-inspired Resort collection at the Sénéquier café back in May. Now comes word that Chanel is opening a pop-up store there to lure jet-setters, while Louis Vuitton and Lanvin are also setting up shop in town. If you can’t make it to the French Riviera this summer, a pair of K.Jacques sandals are the next best thing. We plan on slipping into the iconic two-strap design after spotting the style at several recent Cruise collections, Michael Kors included. Classic with a frisson of buzz? That’s so St.-Trop

RICARDO TISCI GETS INTIMATE WITH GIVENCHY. FALL COUTURE 2010

>> Riccardo Tisci transitioned from full-on runway to intimate presentation for his Fall 2010 couture collection, shown yesterday in a gilded Paris apartment — only ten looks’ worth, as opposed to 23 looks last couture season. The impetusfor the change? “I’ve been at Givenchy for five years now, and I’ve found my feet, and know what I’m doing much better. People know what Givenchy is now, and it’s selling. For couture, I think it’s better to show fewer things like this, which are more special, and can be seen properly . . . My style is about the little details. If a dress goes by with the kind of speed of my shows, you might go, ‘Oh, there’s a lace dress.’ You won’t see why it took 1,600 hours to make. And this way, I can meet people and talk to everyone. That’s good, too.” The presentation was reportedly more expensive than runway shows have been in the past for the brand.

The collection was inspired by Frida Kahlo and her three obsessions — religion, sensuality, and human anatomy — paired with degrade, lace, and fringe — three finishes Tisci considers his signatures. One catsuit featuredSwarovski crystal skeleton that took 1,600 hours to make, and another gold lace dress clocked in at six months of work.

Speaking of putting in hours, Tisci has apparently joined Rick Owens and Marc Jacobs in their workout obsessions — he’s “a kick-boxing fanatic,” according to Hilary Alexander: “Every morning, for an hour!”

Willy Vanderperre’s somber group of models in Riccardo Tisci’s fall collection

I loved Willy Vanderperre’s somber group portrait of models in Riccardo Tisci’s fall couture collection for Givenchy. Instead of a show, Mr. Tisci presented 10 looks on forms, as well as Mr. Vanderperre’s portrait (front and back views) in a gilded set of rooms in the Place Vendôme. Frida Kahlo inspired the religious and anatomical details in the long dresses and embroidered cat suits, done in a palette of porcelain, blush-pink and gold, with exposed zippers and long silk fringe, like human hair.
