My first post after a lengthy break has to be the hype about the name change at the House of Yves Saint Lauent to Saint Laurent. I do not even know where to start with this. First off let me say that Hedi is perfect for Dior. Ok. Ok. That is off track. back to it..

Since the name change supposedly branded by Hedi Slimane has gotten a lot of backlash, I get it. People love to say Y, S AND END IT WITH L. Y S L. What many do not know is that the name SAINT LAURENT has already been branded by the house in the 70s and early early 80s. This line has already been. So. what is the issue. Hedi is merely giving the name a revival and giving the already branded Saint Laurent a rebirth.

SAINT LAURENT HAS ALREADY BEEN. LEAVE IT ALONE!

FACT IS IN THE BOOKS.

I love Hermes, I do. My dog is named, Hermes, I have it tattoo’d on my chest. I eat, sleep, think and dream about Hermes. I bathe in Hermes.I love Hermes. It is the down right truth… carry on….

…………..  THE 2 MILLION DOLLAR BIRKIN BAG MAKES ME SWEAT!  I have the Fourre Tout PM and I know that its no Birkin Or a Garden Party- which I love. And, I know that it is no Himalayan Birkin which is made of Albino Crocodile, which, to me is the most beautiful bag ever to exist. But, Feast your eyes on the INSANE 2 million dollar birkin. It is the  bracelet/bag, or “baglet” as they call it, is made of rose gold molded to resemble crocodile skin. 1,160 diamonds adorn the purse It took designer Pierre Hardy two years to craft.

I need to have this bag. I know that it is more than likely a dream. Who cares. My dreams don’t hurt you or anyone. So, Settle down.

And, P.S.. This isn’t the “official” most expensive handbag, to me the other should be considered jewelry- The Mouwad “1001 Nights” Diamond purse is at a value of 3.8 million dollars. YIKES

THE COST OF LOOKING AMAZING ON THE RED CARPET- JAW DROPPING.

I Litereally am going to copy and paste this from Style.com.  I did have an idea of what things cost and the cat fight for the “IT” dress of fashions season. I was talking about this with my client over the weekend. Our main question was how much do stylists make for a single job working awards season. Question answered.

read on.

The celebrity stylist wants to be seen as a mix of fashion consultant and best friend, but the job is really more hustler-broker, netting a red-carpet day rate of $1,500 to $10,000 for the ugly grunt work of wrangling, bullying, and pleading with designers to spare a gown or a clutch purse so that the client (or, more often, the film studio that’s paying) doesn’t have to buy it. Often the stylist has to donate, too. If a movie company won’t pay for the day rate, the celebrity probably won’t either, in which case she might ask a stylist to dress her in return for exposure. Stylist Phillip Bloch says that some of his top-tier clients never pay him. “Honestly, Salma [Hayek] never paid a dollar, I don’t think, in all the years I’ve worked for her,” says Bloch. “She and I were best friends.”
